Well, the first month of 2010 is almost over. That means tax season is here. When you contribute property (clothes, furniture, household goods, etc.), attach a list of items you have donated to the receipt you get back. Also, include an estimated fair market value of the item. This will provide the documentation you need in case of an audit.
