Well, IRS will start accepting tax returns on January 30th.  However, some forms may not be ready for a couple more weeks, so you may not be able to file just yet.  For example, if you own a business and have depreciation, you won’t be able to file.  There are other forms that also are not ready yet.  You can check the IRS website for a complete list and anticipated dates the forms will be ready.
